Representatives of two universities take photograph
On March 13rd 2014, the delegation of the University of Economics and Law, a member University of HCM City National University, led by Vice Rector Dr. Le Tuan Loc paid a visit at VNU-UEB and had meeting on some experiences in training and quality assurance.
The delegation from the University of Economics and Law (UEL) also included representatives of Office of Academic Affairs, Office of Finance and Planning, Faculty of Economics Law, Faculty ofInternational Economic, and Faculty of Finance and Banking.
From UEB, there were Vice Rector Dr. Vu Anh Dzung, representatives of Office of Academic Affairs, Office of Finance and Planning, Center for Higher Educational Quality Assurance, Faculty of Finance and Banking, Faculty of Business Administration together with Faculty of International Business and Economics.

Within the framework of the visit, the representative of UEB shared experience in the development and double-degree training programs, the operation of credit training system; the practical experiences in implementing quality assurance in accordance with ASEAN Universities Network standard, the management of finance issues (including the development and deployment the project for salary range in the form of 3P).
Accordingly, the double-degree training programs were firstly launched by UEB in 2008 and currently has attracted many students in UEB in particular and in VNU in general. With the advantage of inter-association under VNU, UEB has built and developed the double-degree programs with the University of Languages and International Studies, University of Technology, Faculty of Law, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU and two internal double-degree programs for students of UEB.
In regard of AUN Quality Assurance, with experience in implementing honor bachelor training program of International Economics and preparing for accreditation of international standard program in Business Administration, UEB has shared with the partner about some issues such as writing self-assessment report, preparing the evidence in accordance with the AUN criteria, training staff, faculty members and students, the collaboration between the units in the university.
Those are the two issues concerned and questioned much by members of University of Economics and Law. Receiving the answers with openness and details of UEB, the delegation expressed those are the valuable experience for themselves in the AUN implementation process for two training programs and for deploying the double-degree programs in the future.

Closing the meeting, the delegation from University of Economics and Law thanked for receiving and sharing valuable experience by UEB, at the same time, the University of Economics and Lawshow their readiness in collaboration with the UEB in the future activities.
The visit helped strengthen the relationships between two universities, as well as create opportunities to learn and exchange experiences in the establishment and development in general between the University of Economics and Business (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) and University of Economics and Law (Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City).
