Currently, there is no bank in Vietnam that is truly considered a Green Bank. Almost Vietnam’s banks are providing green banking services or lending activities linked to environmental commitments. The green bank adoption in Vietnam in the recent period is reflected through the completion of the basic legal framework for the development of green banks and the growth of green credit in Vietnam’s banking system.

[4] Four groups of factors affecting the development of commercial banks in Vietnam include: Macro factors that have the greatest impact on the development of green banking in Vietnam; Financial capacity of the bank; Support policies on green banking development; Green investment demands.
