Joaquin Goyache Goñi is the Rector of the Complutense University of Madrid. He is a Professor of Animal Health, specializing in the fields of Microbiology and Immunology.
He is a member of numerous committees and commissions, including that of the European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education (EAEVE) and the person in charge of preparing the White Paper on the Degree in Veterinary Medicine. His most recent research focuses on communicable diseases in wild and exotic animals and the study of the use of designer vaccines.
