Research purposes:
Based on analyzing and assessing the development of economic special zones in China, the thesis withdrew lessons and proposed measures for the establishment and development of the economic special zones in Vietnam.
New contributions:
The development of economic special zones in China was analyzed. And lessons from this development were learned. Many problems that China is facing in developing the models of economic special zone were mentioned. The thesis also analyzed the possibilities and conditions of Vietnam and proposed recommendations relating to the development of the economic special zones in our country. The thesis helped to affirm the significance of economic zone models and that of the economic special zones in particular for developing countries’ economic growth during the integration time.
