UEB students adapt quickly to the development of e-commerce…

 

Today, most businesses and organizations’ development depend on their ability to provide products and services that bring added value to customers. The distribution of goods and services via the internet and information technology is creating a whole new industry as well as restructuring the existing ones. E-commerce has been dominating the market as well as attracting large number of customers not only in Vietnam but around the world.

 

E-commerce is a rapidly changing field. So how UEB’s students are equipped with skills to quickly adapt to that fast-changing field? According to Dr. Nguyen Tien Minh - Associate Dean of Faculty of International Economics and Business, e-commerce is a highly applicable subject with many business models, so in addition to a solid knowledge foundation, UEB’s students will be equipped with complementary skills to help improve their ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment, such as specialized English, innovative thinking, communication, teamwork, presentation etc.

 

Le Minh Thao, 4th year student from Class QH-2018-E KTQT CLC4 said: “The e-commerce module helps me understand how big businesses and small agencies exploit online channels and social media. Through this course, I acquired standard SEO writing skills, which is a important skill for content marketing. I and some friends have developed our own website, sharing knowledge and experiences to help students find their favorite jobs. After taking the real projects, I realized how important the knowledge and tips the course brought!”
