UEBers to go and to learn

VNU University of Economics and Business committed to bring the best value to its students, including the chances to join international exchange, forum and programs. In February, UEBers had their chances to learn with students from all over the world in the “YNU Spring Program”. The program offered by Yokohama National University, Hanoi – a partner of VNU-UEB.

The three-day intensive program took place from 8th to 10th February 2022 and attracted international students from YNU’s partner around the world. Five students of the VNU University of Economics and Business joined the program.

The program provided the students with lectures on advanced research at YNU, as well as deepens their understanding of Japanese culture and society. The main topic for discussion is the global environment and risk management. During three day of the program, the students had lectures on Japanese culture, and enjoyed the virtual tour to Japan, which was introduced by the YNU student groups.

This is also a great chance for UEB’s students to interact with YNU students and international students all over the world in a various way such as the discussions or groupwork.

After the program, I and my fellow participants gained a deeper understanding of knowledge on sustainable development and environmental protection from lecturers of YNU and experts from UNESCO. Through the discussion and groupwork, we have a more comprehensive view of the current situation of the global environment and its impacts on the post-pandemic socio-economic context.” Student Le Tien Thanh from the Faculty of Political Economy said after completing the course.
