Attending the conference, there were Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Truc Le - Rector; the Vice Rectors and lecturers, staffs, and students of the university.

At the conference, PhD. Pham Minh Tuan - Vice Rector of the UEB presented the summary report of the year 2019. The report highlighted the outcomes of key tasks implemented by the UEB as well as limitations and its causes.

 

 

The report also pointed out 10 noteworthy events and achievements of UEB in 2019, including: (1) Launching of the new logo celebrating 45 years of tradition, (2) High admission rates, increasing 34.6% compared to 2018, (3) Comprehensive innovation toward education internationalization; (4) affirm the research potentials within VNU with the remarkable growth in the number of international publication; (5) Successfully organized the Young Scholars Initiative Asia Convening 2019; (6) In collaboration with Springer Publishing House to hold the first International Conference on Economics, Development and Sustainability; (7) Successfully organizing the Global Partnership of Asian Colleges (GPAC); (8) Building a reputation in organizing short-term courses for foreign students and promoting international exchange activities; (9) Improving facilities toward modern and professional learning environment; (10) Promoting students activities especially exchange programs held by faculties and school.

 

Speaking at the conference, Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Truc Le affirmed that the University has achieved great success and completed the key tasks. In the coming year of 2020, the whole university need to stay together to overcome the new challenges and achieve the target of education internationalization.

 

 

 

 

At the conference, the lecturers, staff and students of the UEB shared their joy and pride with achievements gained over the last year. This annual event marked the closing of the year 2019 and opening of a new year of prosperity and happiness for all lecturers, staff and students of the UEB.
