15 UEB students received scholarships from Vietnam Study Encouragement Fund

On 18 December 2013, Vietnam Study Encouragement Fund has collaborated with VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) to organize the Scholarship Awards Ceremony "Shinnyo-en for students with outstanding performance 2013" for UEB students.


Attending the ceremony were Dr. Phan Huu Thang - Deputy Chairman of Vietnam Study Encouragement Fund, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Anh Tai, Vice Rector of UEB, the faculty members and students who received scholarship this time.

At the ceremony, representatives from Vietnam Study Encouragement Fund and UEB has awarded scholarships to 15 students
who have overcomed the disadvantage to achieve the outstanding results. Each scholarship is worth $100. This scholarship is the outcomes of collaboration between Vietnam Study Encouragement Association with Vietnamese and international charitable organizations. In 2012, Vietnam Study Encouragement Fund also cooperated with Lihit Lab Co., Ltd. (Japan) to give presents to UEB.

On behalf of the University’s leader, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Anh Tai thanked Vietnam Study Encouragement Association for c
aring and giving scholarships for VNU-UEB students; and thanked the close relation between the Association and Dr. Phan Huu Thang with UEB recently. UEB students and lecturers will continue to work harder in the training of high-quality human resources for the country.

At the ceremony, Vu Thi Lan Anh - students of Faculty of Business Administration on behalf of 15 students receiving scholarships this time said thanks to Vietnam Study Encouragement Fund and leaders of UEB. The scholarship is not only a physical support in the
ir learning process but also the recognition and encouragement for them to make more efforts to meet the expectations of the university and society.
