Advantages for students of BSBA Troy

Another season for admission is approaching. In order to meet the demands of the candidates, VNU University of Economics and Business held the direct admission for the joint training program in business administration with Troy University on 12th May 2019.


Attending the interview, there were Mr. Joe Teng from Troy University, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Truc Le - Rector of the UEB, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Trung Thanh - Director of Center for International Training and Education, together with the parents and candidates.

Speaking at the event, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Truc Le expressed his thanks to parents and candidates for attending the interviews. He highlighted that joint training programs are expanding in Vietnam as a mean of “Study abroad at the home country”, which helps the students to save money, avoid the culture shock but attain the international degree.

The joint training programs feature various advantages for the students, namely: (1) reasonable tuition fees and time-saving, (2) language teaching in English with 50% of subjects taught by lecturers from Troy University, (3) Focus on soft skills, (4) Students enjoy the same privileges as the students at US campus, (5) subject to deduction of 50% tuition fee when transferring to US campus. Especially, he emphasized that the students will enjoy all of the benefits of both universities.

 

With these advantages, BSBA Troy program proved its outstanding benefits compared to other programs. Besides, flexible admission methods can create favorable condition for the candidates to register.

 

Attending the interview, there were also some alumni, who shared their feelings of the program. Ms. Hoang Thu Trang from intake 7, who is working at Tennessee Knoxville University, said “Troy is one of the high quality training program with advanced textbook and updated curriculum. Compared with many other programs, Troy students have competent skills in communication, presentation and easily adapt to working environment.”

Chu Vu Thanh - Student from intake 15 said, “After turning down offers from 3 universities to enroll at Troy program, I was wondering if I had taken a big risk. To date, I found my answer in the wonderful studying environment and excellent teachers.”

Mr. Cao Duong Tung - father of the student Cao Minh Duc (intake 7) and Cao My Linh (intake 14) said: “In 2008, my son was accepted to some universities but we chose the Troy program. The subjects taught in English are compatible with our demands and orientation. Besides, the students were equipped with soft skills and extra-curriculum. After graduation, my son had good jobs at many international corporations and can support the family business. As the tuition fee is affordable for us, we decided that my daughter will enroll at the program as well.”
