Internet marketing course for staff of UEB

In two days, 22nd and 23rd August 2018, nearly 40 employees of VNU University of Economics and Business had a course with Mr. Nguyen Phan Anh - Expert in Digital Marketing to learn and share about Marking in education.


Opening the course, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Manh Tuan - Vice Rector of VNU University of Economics and Business said, the University opens frequent classes for its employees to learn and share their expertise. The course was to equip the staff with knowledge and tools in digital marketing, which will be useful in the era of 4.0 revolution and admission of the University in the coming years.

On the first day of the course, Mr. Phan Anh shared with the participants the tools for internet sales, especially used in education in Vietnam. The most effective tools to be mentioned were Facebook and Google, which can help the organization to attract millions of customers. Also, Mr. Phan Anh explained to the participants about the procedures of branding, enrollment and customer care. He guided the process to run ads on Facebook and Google. The participants were also given exercises to practice making ads by themselves.

 
 

Later at the course, Mr. Phan Anh talked about 16 steps in sales. He argues that salespeople must place themselves in the position of shoppers to understand what they need, what they want and take the initiative to meet their needs, as well as constantly take care of and interact with customers.

The course brought useful knowledge for UEB’s staff in the context of digital era, which will improve their ways in doing digital marketing at work. After this course, many more will be opened to constantly improve capacities for employees of VNU University of Economics and Business.
