Students of the Faculty of Business Administration, UEB won the Unilever Future Leader's League

On 20th November 2015, the team of 2 contestants, including Le Quang Long and Nguyen Phuong Linh of QH-2013-E - International standard program, Faculty of Business Administration, VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) won the competition Unilever Future Leader's League.



Unilever Future Leaders’ League (UFLL) is a global event that brings together students worldwide to experience leadership and business. First introduced in Vietnam in 2013, UFLL is a unique Business Competition, offering students a great chance to solve real business challenges while leading sustainable business growth and enhancing their capability for the future career.


The competition attracted students from universities around the country with 800 teams registering, 300 teams submitting the video and 22 teams were chosen nationwide. After many rounds, 5 best teams were present at the grand finale taking place at the headquarter of Unilever Vietnam. Judges of the competition included senior leaders of Lowe Vietnam, Kantar WorldPanel and Google. At the grand finale, the team ScholarCif of Nguyen Phuong Linh and Le Quang Long (UEB), Nguyen Hai Anh (Hanoi Foreign Trade University) won the competition.

Winning the big competition for the first time and becoming representatives of Vietnam attending the international finale in London in 2016, Phuong Linh and Quang Long thrilled to share their journey to success.

As remembering their journey from the first day of submission to top 22, top 5, top 2 and final triumph, Quang Long and Phuong Linh recalled the late hours struggling with requests from the competition, success and failures in series of challenges during 2 training weeks in Ho Chi Minh city and many white-night with ideas, plans and presentations.

Quang Long said: “The last 2 months has meant much to me with various chances to learn from others, get familiar with the actual and professional working environment as well as have another family from the competition itself.”

With Phuong Linh: “This is not our own success. Behind the champion, we received huge support from families, friends, Unilever and our lecturers at the UEB”.

Becoming representatives of Vietnam at the global competition, the students of the UEB understand that they have to chance to demonstrate themselves and glorify the trademark of VNU University of Economics and Business.
