The most important and also most attractive part of the forum is the discussion with two speakers: Dr. Tran Thi Lan and Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh. With experiences in research and teaching, Dr. Tran Thi Lan Huong has helped to provide the students with the new and positive look about scientific research such as how to identify and limit the research topics, the most difficult issues to start doing research to the students... In the meantime, being a student who had engaged in scientific research, Researcher Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh shared the story of her own research route with the difficulties, challenges, experiences, memorable moments and special benefits that she got from the research activities during her student lifetime. Through the sharing of the two guests, the students were deeply inspired and given more specific suggestions for the selection of research topics.
In this R-Talk 1, students did not only listen to the interesting and useful information from the speakers but also interacted directly with two speakers in the Q&A session. Students were asking around issues related to choosing research topics; research thinking in scientific research, problems of choosing a member for research group, information about sources and references,... all had in turn been answered.
Q&A session took place in the open atmosphere, the close and friendly attitude of the speakers and the enthusiasm of the students.
Due to the limited time of the forum, many questions were not yet answered. These questions will be answered through the online mailbox by RCES support team (rces.info@gmail.com). R-Talk 1 ended in the rhythm of the song "Road to glory days" and with the wishing of the speakers and the organizing committee to the students during the academic year 2014-2015.
