UEB and responsibility for Sustainable Development Goals

On October 31st, 2021, The Center for Economic Development Studies, VNU University of Economics and Business collaborated with The University of Danang - University of Education, University of Economics of Ho Chi Minh City, RMIT University and The Green Hub organized a virtual seminar on "University with the responsibility for Sustainable Development Goals".


Attending the seminar were Dr. Pham Vu Thang – Director of the Center for Economic Development Studies, VNU-UEB; Dr. Nguyen Thuy Anh - Lecturer at Faculty of Political Economy, UEB; Dr. Kieu Thi Kinh – Lecturer at University of Danang - University of Education and Dr. Trinh Tu Anh – Lecturer at University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City and speakers from RMIT University Vietnam and Green Hub Vietnam. Especially, the event had the presence of Ms. Pham Oanh, representative of the ICM Falk Foundation, with the mission of sponsoring and supporting the implementation of circular solutions and upstream innovation.

 

The seminar attracted a large number of lecturers, speakers and students

Speakers, activists, development organizations, lecturers and students discussed about the models, strategies, plans and activities to be implemented for universities towards sustainable development goals.

This is the first networking event of experts, researchers, and students with an interest in the university's mission and responsibilities towards the SDGs.

 
 

With the participation of lecturers, speakers and researchers, the seminar provided a forum for exchanging and discussing knowledge and opens up opportunities for networking among researchers and experts.
