International Conference for Young Researchers in Economics and Business 2020 (ICYREB 2020)

On January 15th, 2021, VNU University of Economics and Business collaborated with Thuongmai University and other economic universities to co-organize the international conferences for young Researchers in Economics and Business. This is a forum for young researchers to publish and discuss their research outcome.


Representing VNU University of Economics and Business, Deputy Head of the Office of Research and Partnership Development MA. Nguyen Duc Lam and MA. Nguyen Thi Nguyet Nuong, together with UEB's researchers took part in the event.
 
 
Scientific and technological activities in general and scientific research in particular are not only considered as important factors in improving the quality of training and developing high-quality human resources to meet social needs, but also creating knowledge and transferring new technologies for the development of the country.
 

 

 
Within the framework of the conference, VNU University of Economics and Business participated in 4 discussion sessions:

- Session I “Economic Growth and Investment” with the group of authors Ms. Phung Thi Thu Huong, Ms. Do Nguyen Nguyet Minh, Mr. Nguyen Hai Tung with the presentation titled “Influence of FDI on economic growth in Vietnam.”

- Session II “Trade, export and supply chain” with the group of authors Mr. Nguyen The Kien, Mr. Vu Ngoc Bao, Mr. Hoang Khac Lich with the presentation titled “Application of SMART model to evaluate the impact of EVFTA on export activities. textiles and garments of Vietnam.”

- Session III “Innovation, Creation and Digital Transformation in Marketing” chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nham Phong Tuan - Senior Lecturer in Strategic Management, VNU University of Economics and Business.

- Session IV “Accounting, finance, banking” with the group of authors Ms. Le Hong Hanh, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Anh, Ms. Le Hanh Phuc with the presentation titled “Stock returns responses to the covid-19 pandemic: the case of travel - leisure companies in Vietnam.”
