Impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on trade and investment

On December 4th, 2020, VNU University of Economics and Business, together with Thuongmai University, Vietnam Institute of Economics and Haiphong University, co-organized the national scientific conference entitled “Impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on trade and investment”.


Attending the conference were Mr. Tran Thanh Hai - Deputy Director of the Agency of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce, Assoc.Prof.PhD. Pham Thai Quoc - Editorial Writer of the Journal of World Economy and Politics; Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Thi Bich Loan - Vice Rector of Thuong Mai University. From VNU University of Economics and Business, there was Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Anh Thu - Vice Rector, Assoc.Prof.PhD. Ha Van Hoi - Dean of Faculty of International Business and Economics, together with a large number of lecturers and students.

 

 

 
Being held amid the Covid 19 pandemic, the conference “Impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on trade and investment in Vietnam” was held to analyze, evaluate, identify issues of countries, making policy recommendations, as well as forecasting the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on trade and investment in Vietnam. The conference provided useful information to policymakers, corporate managers, and domestic researchers to communicate and share their experiences on issues related to the impact of Covid-19 on trade and investment in Vietnam.
