At the conference, Assoc.Prof.PhD. Le Thi Kim Nhung emphasized that the role of personal finance is attracting the attention of people, both domestically and internationally. In the development of the economy, financial universalization is not a new topic to everyone; however, in Vietnam, there are still many difficulties and challenges. Therefore, the National Science Conference on the topic: “Personal finance - theory and practice in a new context" is organized as an open exchange forum between scientists, managers, financial institutions, delegates and interested individuals.

Dinh Thi Thanh Van - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Banking of the UEB; "Personal financial services in a digital age" by Mr. Nguyen Duc Huy - Deputy Director of Digital Banking Department, Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank; "Factors affecting the decision on participation in voluntary health insurance of Hanoi people" by MSc. Nguyen Viet Binh - Faculty of Finance and Banking of the TMU; and "Personal financial security and issues" by PhD. Nguyen Viet Loi and PhD. Ha Thi Doan Trang - National Institute For Finance, Ministry of Finance.

Mr. Pham Xuan Hoe - Deputy Director of the Banking Strategy Institute, State Bank of Vietnam stated the need of integrating personal finance into primary and secondary education lessons.

In addition, the contributions, questions and opinions of experts, scholars, scientists and delegates were listened and answered by the Organizing Committee. On behalf of the Organizing Committee, PhD. Dinh Thi Thanh Van, Vice Dean of Faculty of Finance and Banking, UEB as well as Head of Personal Finance Network in Vietnam, shared about the research and situation in Vietnam in order to emphasize the importance of promoting financial literacy in Vietnam.

The conference took place excitingly and successfully with practical contributions of the members of the Organizing Committee and many attending experts, scientists, delegates.
