On 19th April 2011, a VNU delegation has had a working session with University of Economics and Business to check the implementation of 2010 - 2011 academic year strategy.
The working delegation was led by Assoc.Prof.PhD. Phung Xuan Nha - VNU Vice President. Participating in the working session were representatives of VNU functional offices and departments, leaders of University of Economics and Business - VNU and the university’s offices.
At the working session, MBA. Pham Minh Tuan - Director of Planning - Finance Office has reported the implementing of of 2010 - 2011 academic year strategy of the university, the planning for 2nd semester and new academic year.
Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Hong Son - UEB Rector and two Vice Rectors Assoc.Prof.PhD. Tran Anh Tai and PhD. Nguyen Ngoc Thanh have clarified questions by VNU delegates as well as recommended VNU leaders for supporting in carrying out the university missions.
At the working session, the planning and implementing effectiveness for academic year of UEB was highly evaluated. VNU leaders also suggested the existing issues of the university and guided the direction for its better implementing.
The meeting is within the checking activities of planning accomplishment of VNU units. It also was an occasion for UEB management board to discuss with VNU leaders on the academic year plan accomplishment. Therefore, VNU leaders have a clearer overview on how the academic year plan is accompanished at VNU member universities and in-time directions.
