On 25th September 2009, VNU held the awarding ceremony of Nguyen Thi Thoa Study Encouragement Scholarship for 20 students from training units of VNU.
Each scholarship portion values 6 million VND. There were 4 students of the UEB - VNU who were awarded the scholarship this course.
Those students are:
1. Nguyen Thi Hanh, QH-2006-E Political Economy
2. Mai Thi Sen, QH-2006-E Finance - Banking
3. Nguyen Thi Hat, QH-2008-E International Economics
4. Tran Thi Giang Quynh, QH-2008-E Economic Development
Together awarded in this course, there were 6 students from the College of Foreign Languages, 5 students from College of Technology, 3 students from College of Education and 2 students from School of Law.
This was the second awarding ceremony, which has been supporting disadvantageous students of VNU who made great effort in their study.
Addressing at the ceremony, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Trong Quat - Vice President of VNU expressed his gratitude to Ms. Nguyen Thi Thoa who has funded the encouragement scholarship to support disadvantageous students and encourage them in study. Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Trong Quat also expected that the students would utilize the scholarship helpful resources for learning.
