The representation of Nomura International (Hong Kong) Limited at the ceremony
University of Economics and Business (VNU) has held the Nomura International (NI) scholarship ceremony for five best QH-2004-E students of Banking and Financial Faculty on 9th April 2008.
Mr. Haijme Usuki, NI’s representative, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Son, UEB’s vice Retor, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Trinh Thi Hoa Mai, Dean of Banking and Financial Faculty - UEB, the heads of other UEB’s departments and UEB’ Banking and Financial students were attended the ceremony.
Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Son and Mr. Haijme Usuki have given 5 scholarships (one year student’s fee) for 5 best Banking and Financial QH-2004-E students, who have had the best study results for the enrolment year 2007-2008, included: Tran Thi Thu Ha, Vu Thi Thu Hoai, Nguyen Tuan Linh, Nguyen Yen Ngoc, Le Thi Yen.
Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Son has highly appreciated the cooperation between two colleges. He stated that NI was one of the first ranking international cooperated partners of UEB. NI also was one of the most potential partners to develop many cooperated programs between two colleges. On behalf of UEB’s leaders, Assoc.Pro.Dr. Nguyen Hong Son has not only said thanks to the NI but also praised the students who got the scholarships.
