Speaking at the congress under the theme: “Cooperation among universities and enterprises in developing human resources”; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Son analyzed the necessary to establish and promote the cooperation among universities and enterprises, gave vivid and practical examples of successful cooperation domestically and internationally. From the analyses, the Rector proposed some recommendations to enhance this cooperation, which emphasized: i) the need of changing the usual thought about cooperation between universities and enterprises. Both universities and enterprises should be aware of huge mutual benefit brought about by this cooperation, which exploit and bring into play the strengths of both sides… ii) VCCI should become a cooperation linkage among universities, enterprises and government; UEB is willing to support VCCI in building this linkage.

Participation of UEB’s Rector in the Executive Committee of VCCI affirmed the strong growing of the University’s brand name, which subsequently creates favorable condition for applying practical-oriented development of the University, especially application of enterprises’ realistic practice in training and research activities of VNU generally and UEB particularly.
