UEB’s Cooperation in implementing international projects

Internationalization of education is a strategic goal of University of Economics and Business, Vietnam National University (UEB-VNU). Overcoming the barriers of the COVID-19 epidemic, UEB-VNU has successfully organized many international training and research exchange programs on a large-scale. Numerous of scientists and lecturers from prestigious universities in the world had participated, in which the EM4FIT project was one of the most prominent.


Within the framework of the Entrepreneurial Management for Fostering Innovation and Talents project (EM4FIT) funded by the European Union, UEB welcomed lecturers and scientists from University of Salento, Italy to join teaching and collaboration research.

The project lasts for 4 years, led by the University of Southern Denmark SDU - Denmark, including 16 member units that are universities in Europe (Italy, Denmark, Spain, France…) and Asia (Japan, China, Vietnam).

UEB - VNU is the only representative in Vietnam participating in this project, providing many opportunities for UEB lecturers to study and exchange teaching experience and participate in writing articles and being published in prestigious international journals.

 

In November 2022, two lecturers from the University of Salento, Italy, Dr. Claudio Petti and Dr. Marco Di Cintio, participated in research and teaching at the University of Economics - VNU.

Accordingly, UEB lecturers and students had many working sessions and direct discussions with 2 lecturers on economic issues of concern. Dr. Claudio Petti and Dr. Marco Di Cintio conducted 4 sessions to share about development and catch-up strategies of Vietnamese enterprises, modern consumer behaviors as well as research issues of the EM4FIT project. The two experts also had time to work together directly at the Institute of Business and Management - University of Economics and Business and to exchange and explore Vietnamese culture at famous destinations in Ninh Binh and Hanoi.
 
It is expected that in 2023, some of the project's scientists will continue to have teaching and scientific exchange activities at the University of Economics - VNU.

UEB is gradually becoming a reliable and effective destination for many international lecturers and scientists to teach and collaborate in research; bringing the University of Economics and Business - VNU closer to the international academic and training community, affirming a solid position in the ranking positions in the fields of economics, business and management science of prestigious university ranking.
