On 2nd March, representatives of Uppsala University, Sweden had a working visit with leaders of VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) to discuss cooperation programs between the two universities. Attending the meeting, there were Mr. Kay Svensson - Deputy University Director - International, Mr. Detlef Clowe - Regional Representative and Dr. Anna-Klara - Project Manager, Division for Quality Enhancement, Quality and Evaluation.
From the UEB, there were Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu - Vice Rector, Dr. Nguyen Thi Vu Ha - Deputy Head, Office of Research and Partnership Development and Dr. Hoang Thi Bao Thoa - Director, Center of International Training and Education.
Uppsala University and VNU University of Economics and Business started cooperation in 2009. The two universities have undertaken 8 courses of Master of Public Policy Management. In addition, exchange programs under sponsorship of Linnes Palm were also successfully implemented. In early 2017, Uppsala University and the UEB also committed to develop proposals for Erasmus program.

At the meeting, Mr. Detlef Clowe introduced to leaders of the UEB Dr. Anna-Klara, who will replace him as Regional Representative of Uppsala University in Vietnam. Next, representatives of the two universities also discussed ideas to promote cooperation in the coming time, mentioning exchange of students and lecturers, academic and culture exchange as well as doctoral training programs.
