3. Vietnam share of global footwear exports surges past 10 pct
For the first time last year, Vietnam accounted for more than 10 percent of the world’s footwear exports after growing five-fold since 2011. The country remained in second place with exports of 1.23 billion pairs behind only China (7.4 billion), according to the World Footwear 2021 Year Book published by the Portuguese Footwear, Components and Leather Goods Manufacturers Association.
