UEB prepares for the external assessment under regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training

Over the years, the VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) has always strived to improve the education quality to meet the diverse needs of the society and create credibility domestically and internationally. The university has been implementing quality assurance programs throughout the university, carrying out accreditation with domestic and international agencies.


In 2009, the UEB conducted the quality inspection for the high quality bachelor program in foreign trade following the quality standards set by Vietnam National University. After the inspection, the program is accredited at level 1 (equivalent to national standard) following regulations of quality inspection of VNU.

In 2011, the UEB carried out the self-assessment following the quality standards of the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) (including 10 standards with 61 criteria) and conducted the quality inspection for the high quality bachelor program in foreign trade following the quality standards of ASEAN University Network (AUN-QA) with the result of 4,69/7.

The results obtained from the inspections of AUN and MOET have provided the University with more insight on the responsibility of training qualified human resources for the social. Therefore, the University always attaches great importance to the education quality accreditation, especially international quality accreditation, considering it as one of the important objectives to be achieved in the development strategy to the years 2020 - 2030.

Aiming at further improving the education quality, following regulations of the MOET on implementation of periodical accreditation, on 22nd March, the UEB will carry out the external assessment. The assessment will take place within 3 days and end on 25th March 2016. Results of the assessment will clarify strengths and certain weaknesses in implementing activities of the University.
