Research purposes:
- To clarify the situation of international tourism in Vietnam to propose some recommendations and solutions to accelerate international tourism of Vietnam in world economic integration.
- To generalize some theoretical and practical issues of the operation of international tourism in the international economic integration process, to analyzing the role of international tourism in regard to national development, and experience in some countries.
- To analyze the formation and development of international tourism in Vietnam; to review the current status of international tourism activity and indicate the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and challenges of international tourism in Vietnam in the current period.
- To analyze the tendancy of international economic integration and international tourism development in Vietnam, creating a base for some solutions to improve the activity.
Contributions:
- Systemizing the theoretical base of tourism, international tourism ; analyzing the influence of international tourism on the development of each country.
- Basically assessing on the situation of international tourism in Vietnam, emphazise on the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges of international tourism in Vietnam.
- Based on scientific and practical base, the paper recommends some solutions to accelerate international tourism activities in Vietnam in global economic integration. It is expected that the paper will be a useful reference for readers, contribute to the plan-making of international tourism improvement in Vietnam.
