The appointment announcement ceremony of Vice Rector of UEB

On 2nd January, 2014, VNU-UEB solemnly held the ceremony to announce the decision to appoint Vice Rector of VNU-UEB for Dr. Nguyen Truc Le. According to assignment of board of management, Dr. Nguyen Truc Le would be in charge of: Research and Partnership Development, Journal and Publishing, Communication and Public Relations and International Training and Education.

Attending the ceremony were representatives of Vietnam National University: Assoc.Prof.Dr. Phung Xuan Nha - alternate member of The Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam cum President of VNU, Hanoi; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quan, Director of Organization-Personnel Department; The representatives of UEB included Assoc.Prof. Dr. NguyenHongSon-, Party Committee Secretary cum Rector of UEB, Vice Rectors, representatives of the Trade Union, Youth Union, Student Union, leaders of the departments, centers and, senior lecturers.

At the ceremony, President of VNU - Assoc.Prof.Dr. Phung Xuan Nha gave the appointment decision to Dr. Nguyen Truc Le. After congratulating to new Vice Rector of UEB, President of VNU had a speech to give guidance UEB and the new Vice Rector. He emphasized Dr. Nguyen Truc Le should attempt to complete advisory role, support the Rector; continue to learn and grasp related regulations to solve; understand thoroughly science - technology missions of UEB and develop these activities, especially the annual economic report that UEB is undertaking.

Regarding the partner development, President of VNU said, based on promoting the achieved accomplishments, the new Vice Rector needed to support and guide departments to strengthen their cooperation with localities and implement short-term training. The President also proposed Rector of UEB, lecturers and officers to support and facilitate the new Vice Rector to complete assigned tasks.

Congratulation to Dr. Nguyen Truc Le, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Son hoped that new Vice Rector would not only develop assigning tasks but also bring benefit for UEB. Besides, agreeing with the President of VNU, he impressed the new Vice Rector should boostthe cooperation with localities and short-term training.

Thanked the trust of VNU leaders, leaders, officers and lecturers of UEB, Dr. Nguyen Truc Le expressed his determination to implement the program for assigned tasks.

At the ceremony, President of VNU and Party Committee, Management Board of UEB and officers gave their gratefulness to Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Thanh - the former Vice Rector of UEB (currently being Rector of Hanoi University of National Resources and Environment) for his great contribution in his work from the early hardship days of establishing the UEB.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Son wished Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Thanh to complete outstanding tasks in this new position and to successful cooperation between two Universities in the near future. Lectures and officers of UEB shared congratulation with new UEB Vice Rector Nguyen Truc Le and expressed their deep gratitude to former UEB Vice Rector Nguyen Ngoc Thanh also.
