VNU-UEB representatives are Assoc.Prof.Dr.Nguyen Hong Son - Rector, accompany with Vice Rectors and officers, lecturers, learners and students of full-time,joint-training and dual degree program.

To welcome the freshmen, learners and fellows have passed difficult entrance exams to enter VNU-UEB, Rector emphasized that they are next generation who will establish and develop the University with creative passion, continuous effort and attempt. He advised the students and learners “Do not stop learning and working to turn their dreams into reality!” And “the University and Lecturers are always beside you"- he stressed.

At the ceremony, on behalf of VNU-UEB Party Committee, Managing Board and officers, lecturers, students, learners, Assoc.Prof.Dr.Nguyen Hong Son also thanks for consideration and support of various departments and agencies especially the concern and close guidance of VNU managers in recent  years which has helped VNU-UEB complete training tasks, scientific research towards advanced research university. He thanked partners, businesses, sponsors who have been associated with VNU-UEB through effective support in creating opportunities for: internships, recruiting and valuable scholarship for students.

Congratulation to VNU-UEB in the ceremony, Assoc.Prof.Dr.Nguyen Kim Son - VNU Vice President emphasized VNU  recognizes and be proud of VNU-UEB’s achievement   over the last few years. He said that in the coming period, VNU-UEB needs to continously innovate, promote and better take advantage of your potential to get better performance in training, research, consultancy and research findings transferring ... contributing to develop the country.

He believes that with  its goal, high quality of examined training, research and services , autonomy, flexibility and breakthrough in current activities, along with solidarity  and consensus, VNU-UEB will  pass any challenge to continuously develop and complete its glorious mission.

At the ceremony, UEB Managing Board has awarded certificates and prizes to 18 students of full-time program of 2013-2014 school year, including 2 valedictorian students of university entrance exam 2013; 6 students with high academic performance; 5 active students with positive activities and good academic performance; 5 students who have disadvantage and good academic performance.

Representatives of partners, Mr. Le Tu Minh - Chairman of IMG Investment Joint Stock Company, delivered a speech to celebrate the first day of school year. As a former student of the Faculty of Economics, now VNU-UEB , Mr. Minh also expressed his movement to witness the development of the university. He hopes to continue to contribute to the university through collaborative activities, especially through the scholarships.

At the ceremony, representatives of businesses, partners, organizations awarded scholarships to UEB students. In the picture, Assoc.Prof.Dr.Tran Anh Tai - Vice Rector received scholarship from Mr. Le Tu Minh - Chairman of  IMG investment JSC.

In order to motivate and encourage talented students, disadvantaged students with good study result, businesses and organizations who are partners of VNU-UEB have sponsored and awarded scholarships to students such as IMG Investment JSC., BIDV, Vietnam Association of Chatered Certified  Accountants (ACCA), Vietsourcing Group, CEO of LienVietPostBank, Sacombank, VN Driect Securities JSC., Vietnam S-Link Education Ltd. The total value of the scholarship is 673 millions.

On behalf of the freshmen of QH-2013-E, student Vu Tran Loc - valedictorian of the A1 block intakes of university in 2013 expressed his pride and joy to studyin such a wellknown institution as UEB, and he promised to continously attempt to learn, practise and strive to become useful citizen of the society.

2013-2014 school year began, VNU-UEB lecturers and students will continue effort for selected targets; determinate to complete tasks, contribute to the development the University.
