VNU-UEB students receive VNDirect orientation scholarships

Getting applications from April 1st 2013, through 2 rounds of essays evaluation and interviews, the organizing committee of VnDirect Scholarships 2013 has chosen the 10 best candidates. Among them is Nguyen Thi Thien Duyen (QH-2011-E KTQT- CLC) of VNU University of Economics and Business.
VnDirect Scholarship 2013 is jointly held by the VnDirect Securities Company, VNU-UEB and FTU.
In addition to the value of 20 million VND, each student receiving a scholarship also participates in career orientation courses in the form of "professional experience" in different departments in VnDirect in the academic year 2013-2014. This will be an opportunity for students to exchange and share learning experiences and future directions, creating a network of people who are enthusiastic and desire to succeed.
According to the organizing committee, VnDirect scholarship 2013 program has received more than 200 applications. The organizers highly appreciated and was impressed by the amount of student participation and their academic achievement, extra-curricular activities of the candidates. At the end of Round 1 (essays), 30 applications were shortlisted for interview.
This is the first year that VnDirect scholarship is awarded to the second and third year students of two universities: VNU-UEB and FTU. Beginning in 2014, the program will be extended to students of economics - finance sector in the country.
