I. GENERAL INFORMATION

The School of Business Administration (SBA), VNU University of Economics and Business was established on July 28th 2016 in accordance with the Decision No. 2051/QD-DHKT signed by the Rector of the UEB. The SBA has more than 40 years of history originating from the Department of Business Administration under the University of Social Science and Humanities; and then the Faculty of Business Administration under VNU University of Economics and Business.

The SBA is one of UEB’s training units, aiming at training talented managers and providing theoretical system matching with Vietnam’s context and different development stages.

Lecturers of the School are professors, associate professors, PhD with both academic expertise and practical know-how experience, who graduated from prestigious universities of Vietnam and abroad (the US, UK, Australia, Belgium, Russia, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, etc.) and had working experiences in domestic and international corporations, joint stock company and enterprises.

III. FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Major missions of School of Business Administration:

  • Providing highly qualified human resources in the field of business administration to meet the demands of international economic integration and the development of the country.
  • Transferring the research outcomes, new theories and thoughts in management to enterprises in order to promote the development of enterprises as well as enhance the socio-economic development of the country.
  • Offering excellent consulting services in business administration for enterprises.

VI. RESEARCH

School of Business Administration conducts applied research projects to meet the needs of businesses and the society. The research outcomes are published in prestigious national and international journals, contributing to the UEB’s goal of becoming an important link in business administration research network of the country and over the world.

VII. COOPERATION AND DEVELOPMENT

The objective of international cooperation activities in the future of the School is to maintain and develop existing relationships. The School is actively expanding the cooperation with other school/ institutes and organizations in and outside the country; diversifying cooperation channels and partners to promote international cooperation in the spirit of supporting training and research activities. On the other hand, training and research activities help accelerate international cooperation.

  • Becoming the leading institution in providing entrepreneurs, management ideas and consulting services.
  • By 2022, the School of Business Administration strives to be the leading institution of Vietnam and highly ranked among Asian institutions in the field of training business managers and researching modern Eastern and Western management ideas.
