University of Economics and Business - VNU is the host for GPAC 2010

GPAC (Global Parnership of Asian Colleges) is a major event held annually with the participation of students from many Asian universities. In 2010, University of Economics and Business - VNU is the host for GPAC with the theme “The road to the recovery and development of Asia” from 24 to 29 of August.


GPAC is a international forum for students, which was initiatated by Prof. Min Sang Kee, Former Vice President of Seoul National University (Republic of Korea) and Prof. Haruo Shimada, President of ChibaUniversity of Commerce, Japan. GPAC is organized annually and respectively in Asian countries: Japan, South Korea, China, Chinese Taiwan and Vietnam.

Participating in GPAC 2010 will be professors and about 150 students from prestigious Asian universities such as: Bejing University (China); Seoul National University (Republic of Korea); Keio University, Chiba University of Commerce (Japan); Chengchi National University (Chinese Taiwan). GPAC is an opportunity for students to participate in research, academic exchanges, discussion on economic issues of Asia and the world; sharing socioculture of each country; understanding bout global issues as well as improve soft skills like team-working, presentation, organizing…

2010 is the 3rd year when University of Economics and Business - VNU participate in GPAC, and the first time the university hosts the important event.
