Soka University’s Leaders visited University of Economics and Business - VNU

On 14th March 2008, the Leaders of Soka University have visited UEB - VNU. Professor Takagi Isao, Vice Manager of International cooperation Office and Prof. Koji Kobayashi, lecturer were presented for Soka Uni at the meeting.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Son, UEB’s vice Rector, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Thanh, UEB’s vice Rector; Dr. Bui Dai Dung, Director of Economics Development Research Center; MA. Nguyen Thanh Hue, Deputy Manager of Cooperation and development Dept, Mss. Yvonne Oberhollenzer, coordinator of International relationship development have attended the meeting.

The main purpose of this meeting was to impulse the development and cooperation on research and training for between Soka Uni and UEB.

At the meeting, representatives of the two universities have discussed about scholars exchange for the year 2009 and the following years and the scholarship program for 1 to 2 research students to come to Japan to study Japanese, English and Economics.

Soka has agreed to offer some other scholarships for excellent students to study the short courses on Japan and Vietnam.

Both college have agreed to cooperate on research with the topic that both interested on such as Japanese and Vietnamese Economics Relations, Japanese and Vietnamese Business cultures, and other cooperation issues within APEC.
