The University of Economics and Business is one of the top unit universities with the highest amount of extra-budgetary fund scholarships from VNU. Last February, UEB lecturers and students got good news when 10 outstanding students won valuable scholarships from the Asian Development Fund, Korea (ADF) and the Mitsubishi UFJ Foundation Japan.
The scholarship awarding ceremony was solemnly organized by VNU with the participation of representatives of the Asian Development Fund, Korea and VNU leaders and excellent students.
06 students received scholarships worth from 1,000 – 2,000 USD sponsored by the Asian Development Fund, Korea:
1. Truong Thi Minh Thoa – School of Business Administration – Scholarship: 2000 USD/year
2. Pham Xuan Ngoc Phuoc – Faculty of International Business and Economics - Scholarship: 2000 USD/year
3. Le Thi Ngoc Duong Ngoc – Faculty of Accounting and Auditing - Scholarship: 1000 USD/year
4. Dang Quynh Chi – Faculty of International Business and Economics - Scholarship: 1000 USD/year
5. Nguyen Nhu Y Ngoc – Faculty of International Business and Economics - Scholarship: 1000 USD/year
6. Vu Thi Kim Chi – Faculty of Political Economics - Scholarship: 1000 USD/year
04 students were awarded scholarships worth 340 USD/student by the Mitsubishi UFJ Scholarship Fund. Accordingly, 30 VNU students with outstanding accomplishments in studying and training received Mitsubishi scholarships for the school year 2022-2023.

VNU provides 600 extra-budgetary fund scholarships from local and international organizations in the school year 2022-2023, with many valuable scholarships for students. In which, students from the University of Economics and Business were recognized with numerous distinguished grants. In particular, valuable scholarships sponsored by the Asian Development Fund, Korea (ADF) and the Japan Mitsubishi UFJ Foundation have accompanied VNU students for many years and given students many valuable learning opportunities.
