CEIAC 2022: UEB and international academics to propose recommendations to promote green growth and sustainable development in Asia

On December 16, 2022, the International Conference with the theme "Contemporary Economic Issues in Asian Countries CEIAC 2022" co-organized by the VNU University of Economics and Business in collaboration with Springer Nature Publishing House, Sungkyunkwan University, Tamkang University attracted many domestic and international scientists.

From VNU University of Economics and Business, there were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Trung Thanh - Rector, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu - Vice Rector, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen An Thinh - Dean of Faculty of Development Economics together with lecturers and staff of the university.

International scientists attending the conference included Prof. Joon Song - Dean of Faculty of Economics, Sungkyunkwan University; Prof. Yen-Ling Lin - Dean of Faculty of Economics, Tamkang University; Prof. Patrick Zilterer - University of Zurich, Switzerland.

Speaking at the conference, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu - Vice Rector of the UEB said: “In the recent years, Asia is a region of rapid economic growth. The world economy in general and the Asian economy in particular have experienced many fluctuations due to the Covid-19 pandemic, military conflicts, trade wars and the shift of the global supply chain. Therefore, the important aspects of economics and development in the context of global changes in Asia are remarkable."

The CEIAC 2022 international conference is an opportunity for all academics, researchers and graduate students to look back on the past journey in management and business to connect and support Vietnam in its rapid development toward a strong and sustainable economy in the 21st century”.

According to Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen An Thinh - Dean of Faculty of Development Economics, the conference will be held annually from 2022 to gather international scientists with highly valued research results.
