I applied immediately after receiving announcement for the KPMG Star program. With this program, I obtain the chance to work as an internship at KPMG - one of the four "big accounting companies" with a network leading auditors.
To be selected, the students will have to go through three rigorous rounds: CV Screening, Test and Interview. Those selected will receive a scholarship package that includes tuition and exam fees for one subject of the ICAEW International Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business (CFAB). ICAEW and KPMG will jointly develop vocational training programs for the group of students. The top five students with the highest scores will have the chance to take summer internships at KPMG Vietnam.
I felt lucky to receive encouragement from our teachers at the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing during the program. I "passed" the exam with the score of 80/100, to win the summer internship at KPMG. After 6 weeks working here, I have learned a lot of skills and practical experiences. The working environment is extremely dynamic, open, youthful and professional.
