UEB Virtual Course 2021 attracted over a hundred students from UEB’s partners around the world, including Paderborn University, OTH Regensburg University, Dundee University, ICN Business School, Salento University, Cracow University of Economics, National Chengchi University, Chiba University of Commerce, Kyoto University and Yokohama National University etc.
Sharing about this course, Assoc.Prof. Nguyen Anh Thu – Vice Rector of the UEB said, “Firstly, the course aims at giving international students an overview of Vietnam economy, our integration process as well as business and environment and culture in Vietnam. More importantly, we gave students an opportunity to learn and exchange with international students worldwide.”
The second day with discussion on the topic “Enterprises and Business Culture in Viet Nam” offered a basic understanding of Vietnam’s business culture and etiquette led by MA. Pham Nhat Linh and MA. Nguyen Thu Thao from the School of Business Administration.
After the first two lessons, the students were divided into groups to discuss different issues ranging from cultural differences to vaccine distribution policies. During the discussion, the students have chances to exchange ideas, present opinions and solve different business problems.
MA. Nguyen Thu Thao – Lecturer from School of Business Administration said, “I was impressed by the diversity of the students participating in this course. They come from all over the world and shared their unique stories with us. Especially in the session 3, within a very limited time frame, the groups successfully presented the assigned topics with deep insights and analysis. That shows the high interest and commitment of all participants to the course.”
