The meeting participants were Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Truc Le - Rector of the UEB; Ms. Tran Thu Huong - Deputy Secretary of Youth Union; MA. Luu Thi Mai Anh - Head of Office of Communications and Brand Management; Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Viet Khoi - Director of Center of International Training and Education; Vu Thi Dao - Chairman of SOS Music Club; representatives of the organizers and the contestant winners.
"Sing & Stay" was organized by SOS Music Club of the UEB in May, with the purpose of connecting university students and high school students, creating an interesting music playground and precious memories in Covid-19 period. The contest received 74 entries from contestants across the country. The contest was officially closed on May 27th. More interestingly, winners of the contest received 13 prizes which were worth up to 7,500,000 VND.

Opening the meeting were attractive music performances of SOS Music Club taken place on the stage of the UEB.
Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Truc Le recognized that SOS Music Club created a special, unique and meaningful playground for students and sent his congratulations to the winners. In addition, he highly appreciated the student’s participation in the contest and emphasized that the UEB would promote such contests in the following years.
The representative of Students’ Association, Ms. Tran Thu Huong praised 10 outstanding members of SOS Music Club. She said that, there were almost no such contest in the past, however, the University will promote the contest in the future to connect students and spread positive energy and passion.
Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Viet Khoi said: "I am a big fan of music and "Sing & Stay" contest.” All works are well-deserved for the effort and talent that you put in. The awards of this contest are unforgettable memories in your life". In addition, he thought that this contest had the power to build, promote the music environment of the UEB and spread it to the whole country.
In the next part, the Board of Directors and everyone watched the performances, which were given the first and second prize. The performances were really unique, talented and elaborately choreographed in terms of music, content and images.
Contestants shared their feelings at the meeting
Sharing at the meeting, Ha Trang – a member of LMC club of Lam Son High School for the Gifted, Thanh Hoa said that she and her club were very happy when they won the third prize. She sang the song "Con đường đam mê" written by seniors of her school. Talking about the difficulties during the contest, Trang shared that hot weather was a big challenge, but they still tried their best to keep the spirit of the song.
Nguyen Viet Khoa - Nhan Chinh High School in Hanoi said that although his club knew the contest quite late, but the members of Music Box still came up with a mashup of MV "Yêu xa - Vết mưa" to participate in the contest and won the third prize. He would like to thank SOS Club as well as VNU - UEB for creating such an interesting competition.
The owner of the elaborate MV "I’ll never love again" - Nguyen Hung from Da Nang shared that his MV was filmed as a challenge of his friend during Covid 19 period. Coincidentally, he found out about the competition and tried it out. The teachers praised Hung for his artistic and talented nature. When being asked about the contest, Hung honestly shared that organizers were very friendly and thoughtful, and he wanted that the competition would grow stronger.

At the end of the meeting, Chairman and Vice Chairman of SOS Music Club - Vu Dao and Ha Vi gave their sincere thanks to the Board of Directors of the UEB, the Youth Union - the Students’ Association, Department of Communications and Brand Management, clubs and participating schools. Finally, organizers of contest summed up what had been and had not been done at the event and suggested some ideas to help the contest achieve more fruitful results in the following seasons.
