Scaling social enterprises 2019 is a study on social enterprises, lying within the cooperation between the UEB and Sydney University, which are held annually in Vietnam. Students from Sydney University, with support from UEB’s students will investigate and study about Vietnamese enterprises in order to give solutions and enhance effectiveness of the enterprises. Two seminars held within the first day of the program gave the students an overview about social enterprises, start-up and business culture in Vietnam.
Attending the program, there were Mr. Jared Harrison - Director of Entrepreuneurship & Innovation, Dr. Nguyen Thuy Linh from Sydney University together with 12 students of the university.
Welcoming the delegation of Sydney University, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Dang Minh - Associate Dean of the School of Business Administration said, the program is a cooperative activity between the two universities. He hoped that the students would gain valuable knowledge during their study and explore the country of Vietnam.
At the academic exchange, Assoc.Prof.Dr Nguyen Dang Minh presented the “Lean management - made in Vietnam” toward increasing productivity and sustainable development in Vietnam. Dr. Ho Chi Dung presented the changes in Vietnam recently.
This year, the students were divided into 3 groups, studying the social enterprises: Imagtor, Koto and Le Gia.
