Expanding cooperation with FLC Group

On July 27th, 2018, representatives of VNU University of Economics and Business had a meeting with leaders of FLC Group at FLC’s headquarter to discuss potential and plans for cooperation between the two sides in the coming time.
Attending the meeting, there were Ms. Vo Thi Thuy Duong - Deputy General Director cum Head of Human Resources, Ms. Vu Thi Hong Thuy - Recruitment Manager. From VNU University of Economics and Business, there were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Truc Le - Rector together heads of functional offices.
Opening the meeting, Assoc.Prof.Nguyen Truc Le expressed his sincere thanks for FLC’s support during the UEB’s summary of the school year 2017-2018 held in FLC Luxury Resort in July. Meanwhile, he hoped that the two sides can cooperate to become strategic partners in the future.
Ms Vo Thuy Duong - Deputy General Director of FLC said: FLC has always focused on developing young and high quality human resources. Cooperation with the UEB will be an effective solution for the Group to solve the human resource issues every year.
At the meeting, representatives of FLC and UEB exchanged details on many collaborative activities, including recruitment, training/research, exchange programs and short courses. In particular, Rector of the UEB highlighted that UEB’s students are trained not only with updated knowledge from qualified lecturers but also soft skills to quickly adapt to working environment. They also have English language proficiency equivalent to IELTS scores of 5.5 - 6.5.

Ending the meeting, representatives of the two sides agreed to discuss in details all the ideas of cooperation before proceed to sign the Memorandum of Understanding in the near future.
