Opening the meeting, Principal of Nguyen Sieu School - Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy and Rector of the UEB - Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Truc Le discussed on the overview of the education system as well as the objectives and mission of the secondary/high school and higher education to identify the common vision in education. Both schools are aiming at training global citizens and build the learning environment of international-standard right in Vietnam.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Truc Le hoped that Nguyen Sieu School will co-operate with the UEB in developing a long-term strategic partnership through seminars, workshops and international exchange activities. These activities are chances to enhance knowledge, time management skills, management of personal finances, career guidance for high school students and parents. With the aim of building a learning environment of international standard in Vietnam, the two sides paid attention to a number of cooperative programs connecting UEB’s students and secondary/high school students. In addition, the cooperation agreement is expected to open opportunities for graduates of Nguyen Sieu High School to study undergraduate programs at the UEB.

At the meeting, the two sides agreed to draft a plan to promote the exchange of lecturers, sharing experiences and academic knowledge. The UEB is committed to build a team of highly qualified and experienced lecturers, willing to support Nguyen Sieu School in specialized subjects.

Leaders of Nguyen Sieu School affirmed that the school will create favorable conditions for the UEB to participate in admission programs, career guidance, dissemination of training programs and cooperation activities between the two schools etc.

In the coming time, the two sides will draft the terms for the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement, thereby, contributing to the training of global citizens with specialized knowledge, excellent skills to meet the need of the globalization.
