The Fourth Industrial Revolution will primarily change the way people work and live in the coming decades brought by the digitalization of economic and social life and its superior impact on conventional business practices and social norms. In an effort to provide comprehensive insights and propose feasible responses to the changes in business environment, the ICYREB 2017 brings together researchers in economics and business, and related fields, serving as a unique point of convergence to meet, share, and exchange their ideas.
Participants at the conference listened to the keynote speeches by 3 main speakers: Prof. Nguyen Duc Khuong from IPAG Business School (France), Prof. Eric D. Ramstetter from Asian Growth Research Institute (Japan) and Prof. Sushil Sharma from Ball State University (US). In addition, the conference also had the presentations of 81 speakers in 15 different subcommittees.
Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Thi Thanh Tu - Dean of the Faculty of Banking and Finance, UEB chaired the subcommittee of Banking. She presented the research on "Exploring Factors Influencing the Success of Crowdfunding Campaigns for Startups in Vietnam". MA. Nguyen Thi Vinh Ha, lecturer from Faculty of Development Economics gave the presentation on "Valuing economic impact of climate change on catch fisheries in Vietnam" at Economic subcommittee.
