Expanding cooperations with German Universities

Within the framework of Northwestern Europe Education Forum held by the Ministry of Education and Training from 2- 4th November, on 2nd November, representatives of University of Paderborn and Trier University of Applied Sciences, Germany paid a working visit at VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) to discuss opportunities and possibilities for cooperation.


Attending the meeting, there were Dr. Stefan Jungblut from University of Paderborn; Prof. Ute Nikolay and Dr. Kathrin Jaszus from Trier University of Applied Sciences. From the UEB, there were Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu - Vice Rector, Dr. Nguyen Thi Vu Ha - Deputy Head of Office for Research and Partnership Development, MA. Vu Thanh Huong - Faculty of International Business and Economics.

 

Discussing with the partners, Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu introduced briefly about the UEB and emphasized the opportunities for cooperation in training and exchange of students and lecturers. She also talked into details about UEB’s high quality training programs accredited by AUN, joint training programs, collaborative research opportunities as well as the research orientation of the UEB and a number of research projects/international conferences that the UEB have deployed etc.

At the meeting, representatives of partner universities expressed the joyfullness when visiting the UEB and learning about cooperation potential. Accordingly, some cooperative activities were discussed, including: exchange of students and lecturers, short-term exchanges, collaborative research etc. Ending the meeting, the three univeristies committed to continue exchanging information to specify cooperation activities in the shortest time.
