Closing ceremony of the training course "Senior Manager at Hanoi Trade Corporation”

On 29th February 2016, VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) in collaboration with Hanoi Trade Corporation (Hapro) held the Closing ceremony for the training course "Senior Manager at Hanoi Trade Corporation".

Attending the ceremony, from the UEB, there were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Son - Rector, Dr. Le Trung Thanh - Head of the Office of Research and Partnership Development, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Hoang Van Hai - Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration. From Hapro, there were Mr. Nguyen Huu Thang - Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son - General Director together with leaders of member units and offices.

The course were participated by senior experts on strategy, leadership and finance of the UEB. After the course, 26 participants acquired specialized knowledge and core skills of strategy leadership and organization management, which was set as objectives of the course from the beginning.

The training course aimed at providing participants with basic and advanced knowledge on: management capacity, behavioral culture in business. After the course, managers at Hapro will be able to apply the acquired knowledge with suitable adjustment to management at the Corporation, helping Hapro gain outstanding achievement in the near future. Taking place within 30 lessons (starting on 25th June) with lecturers from the Faculty of Business Administration - UEB, the course was a great success with high praises from both participants and Hapro. In addition to lectures, participants also took part in the field trips at four enterprises in Vietnam, including: Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.; Dat Viet Ceramic Joint Stock Company, Thung Nham - Ninh Binh Tourism Company, Nhat Thien Co. Ltd.; and a 5-day-business-trip in Singapore.

Many participants said that the lessons were carefully prepared in organization, content and teaching methods. The knowledge is of vital need, which can be effectively applied at work.

At the ceremony, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Son and Mr. Nguyen Huu Thang awarded completion certificates to 26 participants and rewarded 5 individuals with outstanding achievements. Congratulating the success of the course, leaders of the UEB and Hapro also affirmed the partnership between the two sides as well as and suggested further cooperation activities, which can be deployed in the future.
