Cooperation with Hosei University, Japan

On 2nd October 2015, during a business trip in Hanoi, representatives of Hosei University, Japan had a meeting with the VNU University of Economics and Business.



Attending the meeting, there were Dr. Le Trung Thanh - Head of Office of Research and Partnership Development. From the Hosei University, there were Prof. Kiyoyuki Kondoh - Head of Office of Academic Affairs, Prof. Shuichi Yukita - Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology and Dr. Satoru Harada - Advisor.

At the meeting, Dr.Shuichi Yukita gave brief introduction about Hosei University as well as training programs of the University. Hosei University is one of six leading universities in Tokyo. With the Global Policy, Hosei University is constantly updating training programs, especially training programs taught in English, including Global Master of Business Administration (starting implementation since 2015) and some other programs starting enrollment in 2016.

In addition, with global policy, Hosei University has opened a representative office in Ho Chi Minh City, and another will be opened in Hanoi. The office will promote the image of Hosei University to students in Vietnam and develop distance training program.

Representatives of the two universities took a shot together

Talking to representatives of Hosei University, Dr. Le Trung Thanh expressed support for the activities of Hosei University in Vietnam. Also, representatives of the two universities agreed on the contents of the memorandum of understanding, to be signed between the two universities. In the coming time, the two universities will start cooperation in some areas, including student exchange and mutual research projects.
