The meeting took place in open atmosphere, in which the two sides discussed on important issues, focusing on the cooperation between the faculty and the department in internship guides for students, capacity improvement for provincial officials and promoting the research on foreign investment attraction and sustainable development.
Standing Deputy Director of the department Mr. Nguyen Cuong shared that Bac Giang province is facing some difficulties in selecing foreign investors and capital attraction. Accordingly, the UEB team has suggested some research proposals such as the study of factors affecting to foreign investment attraction, the measures to enhance the approach to foreign investors, the investment model, etc. Mr. Nguyen Cuong said, these activities are essential to boost capital and attract direct investment, which contributed to improve and change the local economy towards sustainable development.

 At the end of the meeting, the UEB’s FIBE and Centre for Business Promotion and Development - Bac Giang Deparment of Planning and Investmenthave signed an Memorandum of Understanding to promote the cooperation in the field training, research and high-quality human resources. 
Leaders of the two sides believed that the meeting was the primary basis for further cooperation programs between the department and the university.
