The UEB and People Security Institute strengthen cooperation

April 1st 2014, the VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) and the People Security Institute (PSI) have signed an MOU, strengthening training and research quality of the two sides.


The UEB Rector Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Son and PSI Director Major General Prof.Dr. Nguyen Van Ngoc attended the signing ceremony together with other representatives of the two sides.
Within the MOU, the UEB and the PSI are cooperating in the fields of education - training, research and other activities of mutual interest.
Regarding education and training, the two sides will appoint qualified faculty members to manage relevant subjects; involve in developing course syllabi, textbooks, reference for training activities; instruct graduates of relevant majors; participate assessment councils of the ministry-level and state-level research projects, master’s thesis and doctorate dissertation, etc.
The two sides will also organize experience exchange activities in managing and training students of all degrees and in implementing study competition among students.

In terms of scientific research, the UEB and the PSI will co-organize seminars and conferences which the two sides have the strength of implementing research programs and projects or writing articles in national and international journals. In addition, the university and the institute will exchange the database and information to serve research, training and learning activities.
Moreover, the two sides are jointly organizing or participating in extracurricular activities, exchange programs like performance, sport competitions; cooperation investment, effectively employ facilities of both parties…
Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Son and Major General Prof.Dr. Nguyen Van Ngoc agreed on the potential cooperation between the two sides, especially in research activities in the context of Vietnam’s deeper integration in international organizations. Leaders of the two sides expected that the MOU would open further coordination activities between the UEB and the PSI.
