The 2019 International Conference on Contemporary Issues in Finance, Banking and Accounting (CIFBA 2019) will be co-hosted by the University of Economics and Business-Vietnam National University, Hanoi (UEB-VNU, Hanoi) and the Manning School of Business, University of Massachusetts Lowell (UMass Lowell). The conference provides a forum for academics and practitioners from the fields of finance, banking, and accounting to present their research and discuss contemporary issues related to financial market development, banking supervision and macro prudential in 4.0 industry revolution, and the need for the adoption of common global accounting practices. Presenters will be encouraged to highlight the theoretical insights and practical implication to a multi-disciplinary audience that is attracted to new and transformative ideas.
Participants are researchers and academics from world-leading universities (e.g., University of Massachusetts Lowell, USA; University of Lincoln, UK; University of Swinburne, Australia, etc.), central banks and government authorities (Federal Reserve Bank (FED, USA), Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC, USA), State Bank of Vietnam (SBV), Vietnam Deposit Insurance (DIV), National Finance Supervision Committee of Vietnam (NFSC)), and practitioners from the private sector.
Conference themes
We welcome both theoretical and empirical papers on topics in the fields of finance, banking, and accounting. The scope for research papers is broad, and submissions are encouraged in any discipline or subject area related to the following themes:

Submission
Full-length papers must be in English and spell-checked before submission. Paper format requirement:
· The paper’s title will be in all capital letters and centred.
· Author names and affiliations should immediately follow the title.
· Abstract and key words should immediately follow the author names and affiliations.
· The paper must be in single column format, 1.5 line spacing, and not more than 10,000 words.
· Times New Roman with a font size of 13 is used.
· Citations in text under APA style.
· All papers will be peer reviewed.
Schedule
· Conference date: 02 days, tentative 8 & 9/1/2020
· Call for paper: March 2019
· Deadline for full paper submission: July 15, 2019
· Paper acceptance decision: September 15, 2019
· Registration: October-December 2019
Venue
CIFBF 2019 will be held at the University of Economics and Business, Vietnam National University, Hanoi-Vietnam at 144 Xuan Thuy Street, Cau Giay District, Hanoi, Vietnam.

Note: At least one author of each paper must pay the registration fee. The fee will include a welcome reception gathering, attending keynote speeches and all sessions, and printed conference proceedings.
