UEB to work with Dr. Patrick Horvath, expert in Socio-Economic policy and Secretary-General of a Think Tank in Austria

Dr. Horvath is knowledgeable about Vietnam's socio-economic conditions and is very interested in developing bilateral foreign relations between Vietnam and Austria, especially through connections in higher education.



Overview of the meeting

Dr. Horvath, who has a deep understanding of Vietnam's socio-economic context and is keen on developing bilateral foreign relations between Vietnam and Austria, particularly through higher education connections, met with the leadership of UEB to discuss various topics aimed at establishing a long-term cooperative relationship. Specifically, Dr. Patrick Horvath agreed to collaborate and support UEB in implementing activities such as:

  • Participating and inviting experts to join the University's Policy Advisory projects, either in-person or online
  • Connecting with universities/educational institutions in Austria to facilitate short-term student exchanges and inviting guest lecturers from Austrian universities to collaborate with UEB, providing UEB students with an international learning environment
  • Linking with Austrian universities/educational institutions to develop and engage in student exchange programs (credit exchange)
    Collaborating on research and publications with the UIWIPOL Think Tank

Dr. Patrick Horvath looks forward to returning to Vietnam and welcoming UEB leaders, lecturers, and students to Austria in the near future.
