Students of the Faculity of of Political Economics had a field trip in Long Bien District.

On the 18th June 2016, QH-2013-E students of the Faculity of of Political Economics led by A. Prof – Ph.D. Pham Van Dung, A. Prof – Ph.D Tran Đuc Hiep and Mrs Hoang Trieu Hoa, joined the field trip in Long Bien district, Hanoi.


The field trip were organized to help students access to practical knowledge such as the implementation of policies and mechanisms of state agencies, creating business environment for local businesses and the relationship between the institutional structures in the allocation and efficient exploitation of local resources. The delegation of the faculty of political economics met and discussed with the representative of Long Bien District party committee, listened to report on the the economic and social situation as well as the development direction of the district in the coming years. By promoting administrative reform, improving the quality of civil servants and applying information technology in management, Long Bien district has developed rapidly and become  a bright spot of Hanoi. QH-2013-E students also had a chance to visit and explore the production of Tue Vien Organic Vegetable Farm (under Viet Lien Trading & Investment Company) which is one of the organic farms received VietGap certification certified by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development in Hanoi. Besides organic vegetables, Tue Vien farm also product functional foods and biological detergents.

The representative of Tue Vien Organic  Farm introduced students process of growing vegetables organically, from seed selection, seeding and tending plants to gain standard products. Students also learned how to make tea from hibiscus flowers and essential oil to keep insects out of the house. Practical internship is a very rewarding activity allowing students access to practical knowledge, enhancing skills to meet the requirements of future works.
