Research purposes:

The basic construction investment fund allocated from the local budget is highly important for the socio-economic development of Bac Giang province. The thesis assessed the actual utilization of this fund in Bac Giang from 2000-2007 and pointed out what are the successes, remaining problems and causes of the Province in managing the fund. A number of comprehensive and systematical measures therefore was proposed to enhance the use of the basic construction investment capitals funded by the Province in the future. Significantly, these measures were also meant to reduce the waste and loss of the fund like it has been seen.
