Purposes and missions:

Purposes:

+ To clarify the theoretical and practical basis for the development of trade relations between the two countries.
+ To assess the real situation of Vietnam - China trade relations from 1991 to present and to work out the solutions to improve the performance efficiencies in goods trading between the 2 countries

Missions:

+ To conduct a basic theoretical research on international trade to shed light on the scientific basis of trade relations development between the 2 countries
+ To study the new domestic and international context affecting trade relations between the two countries.
+ To survey and assess the actual situation of Vietnam - China goods trading activities
+ To suggest some solutions to promote Vietnam - China goods trading relations
+ To highlight the development prospect of Vietnam - China goods trading relations in the coming years.

New contributions:

  • Science basis: The topic shows the benefits that countries benefit when participating in international trade; the outstanding advantages of the current regional cooperation which serve as the driver for intensifying Vietnam - China trade relations now and in the future
  • Practicality basis: Based on an analysis of the current Vietnam - China trade relations, the topic proposes some open suggestions for promoting trade relations between the two countries.
